The Flambeau River State Forest covers 75 miles of land following the Flambeau River and offers public hunting for several species. It is also a prime location for kayaking, canoeing, and fishing. For the fishing enthusiast, we have more lakes than you can shake a stick at. The river, lakes, and creeks are abundant with panfish, Northern pike, musky, trout, walleye, bass, sturgeon, and catfish.
